Display Advertising Options
The Aiken Horse offers a range of display and classified advertising options. For display ads, we have multiple insertion discounts. We also offer discounts to local businesses and to qualified 501 C(3) charities.
Local Discounts are for businesses within 100 miles of Aiken County. These discounts are intended to enable Aiken horse businesses to continue advertising with us as we expand. The discounted rate is also available for co-op ads, as long as one member of the co-op is located within our local area.

Regular Rates apply to national advertisers or advertisers outside of the Aiken-Augusta-Columbia area.
Charitable Rates: The Aiken Horse is dedicated to helping recognized charities publicize their organizations and events. Accordingly, we offer recognized 501 C(3) charities a discount of 20 percent off our lowest advertised rate. Discounted rates apply to regular display advertising only:: classified ads and our cover are not eligible for the discount.
We are trying to keep our advertising rates as low as is consistent with providing a quality product for our readers. Therefore, we cannot offer any further discounts to any other businesses.
Classified ads are $20 for the first 30 words: 40 cents for each additional word.
Photo ads are $35 for horses (limit 35 words) and $45 for Real Estate (limit 60 words)
If you would like to place an ad, please e-mail us your text and photos. You may pay by check or by Visa or Mastercard. We can accept your credit card over the phone, or if you prefer, you may e-mail us us your credit card information (Name on card, number, expiration date, billing zip and CIV number on the back.)

To Place a Directory Ad

ads are $25 per insertion, or $105 for the year, paid in advance.
(Local businesses: $90 per year.)
You may pay by check or by Visa or Mastercard. We can accept your credit
card over the phone, or if you prefer, you may e-mail us us your credit
card information (Name on card, number, expiration date, billing zip and
CIV number on the back.)
We are NO LONGER ABLE to include free web ads on this site. We will gladly place your print directory ad on the web at no additional charge. We will also continue to run your web directory ad, space permitting, until you ask us to remove it, also at no additional charge. Please be sure to e-mail us your listing

To Place a Business Card Ad
Business cards are $60 per insertion or $240 for the year, paid in advance. (Local businesses: $50 per insertion or $200 for the year.)
We prefer to receive electronic files in pdf or jpg format. If you do not have your business card in electronic format and you have a good scanner, you may scan us your business card at 300 dpi and e-mail it to us. Otherwise, please put it in an envelope and send it to us in the snail mail.
